The Barn, Cardington are now offering two excitingly delicious new lines of frozen food in store.
Fieldfare provide freshly frozen food in a unique ‘scoop your own’ way to minimise unnecessary packaging. This a great way of enabling visitors to The Barn the chance to buy as much high quality, loose frozen food as they want, but not more than they need.
Products include all butter croissants, steak house fries, cod and prawn Thai fishcakes, Tuscan roasting vegetables and double choc chip cookies.
Fieldfare are a family owned business and have proved a hit since they were introduced in March.
Joining them this April are COOK, a Kent company offering a range of gourmet frozen meals and puddings, all produced to taste like your favourites made at home. They pride themselves on prepping all the induvial meals by hand, even down to putting the contents together into the packaging – there are no machines involved.
Their gourmet range will include family favourites like beef bourguignon, classic fish pie, roasted vegetable lasagne, and sticky toffee pudding. They also offer a great range of takeaway meals such as red Thai curry and chicken tikka masala.
Matt Philcox, Head of Business Services, said “We’re delighted to have these fantastic new ranges in store. They compliment our existing lines and add more choice for our customers, meaning they can now add high quality frozen food to their fresh meat, veg, cupboard essentials and deli items. And of course, breakfast and lunch.”
The Barn recently reopened the café to the public in line with Covid safety standards and is open Tuesday to Sunday.
