On Thursday 29th February, our Staff, Trustees, Patrons and Partners came together to launch our new Strategic Plan for 2024 – 2028 and our 70th Anniversary Video.
During the morning session, our Staff and Trustees came together to learn more about the Strategic Plan, each other’s work and to workshop ways of implementing our goals for the future.
The morning started with Deputy CEO sharing about Beds RCC’s history, featuring some of the charity’s key moments over the past 70 years.

It was a fantastic opportunity for Staff and Trustees to celebrate the hard work carried out by our charity, both in the past and the present.
Our Trustee Craig Smith provided some background and an introduction to the Strategic Plan for 2024-2028, featuring our vision, mission and values:
Our Heads of Department then shared their highlights from the past year, followed by their plans for the future of the charity.
At lunch we were joined by key Partners who stayed on for the afternoon session, which featured our Keynote Speaker Craig Lister and our Head of Wellbeing Kate Ellis. Both shared about the importance of health and wellbeing, and the impact our work is having to communities across Bedfordshire.
The day was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate everyone’s hard work over the years, and we’re looking forward to working with our Staff, Trustees, Patrons and Partners in the future.
