About

Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity (BRCC) is the leading community development agency working across Bedfordshire, with a proven track record built up over 70 years.

BRCC also serves as the Rural Community Council (RCC) for Bedfordshire, one of 38 RCC’s in England working together under the national umbrella body, ACRE.

BRCC is a membership organisation, and organisations and individuals canĀ join BRCCĀ in order to benefit from our member-only services.

BRCC is governed by aĀ board of trustees, and have aroundĀ 90 staffĀ under the leadership of a Chief Executive and Management Team.Ā We also have numerousĀ volunteersĀ working in the office and elsewhere.

BRCC is principally funded through a mixture of contracts and grantsĀ from central and local government, lottery funding bodies, European funding and trusts & foundations. Find a list of our principal funders.

BRCC has a wholly owned trading subsidiary, BRCC Services Ltd (reg no. 4475077), which it uses as required to act outside its charitable objects. Profits are covenanted back to the Charity by Gift Aid.
