Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity (BRCC) is the leading community development agency working across Bedfordshire, with a proven track record built up over 60 years.

BRCC also serves as the Rural Community Council (RCC) for Bedfordshire, one of 38 RCC’s in England working together under the national umbrella body, ACRE.

BRCC is a membership organisation, and organisations and individuals can join BRCC in order to benefit from our member-only services.

BRCC is governed by a board of trustees, and have around 90 staff under the leadership of a Chief Executive and Management Team. We also have numerous volunteers working in the office and elsewhere.

BRCC is principally funded through a mixture of contracts and grants from central and local government, lottery funding bodies, European funding and trusts & foundations. Find a list of our principal funders.
