Stratton Community Farm invites people to create a greener, healthier future
Stratton Community Farm is calling on Biggleswade residents to help transform a plot on the site that was the school farm into a thriving hub for community connection and sustainable growing, which supports the natural environment.
The projectās volunteer organisers are hosting a community event to gather ideas and energy from those who want to see this farm flourish.
The vision behind Stratton Community Farm is simple:
To create a welcoming space where neighbours can grow and share food, and, through this, create a healthier and more resilient community.
The project aims to enable people to produce their own tasty, nutritious, fresh food and provide extra for others who may need it.
However, it isn't just about fruit and vegetables; itās about creating a supportive, nature-based environment where people can engage in meaningful activities and truly connect with one another, as well as enjoy the benefits of an urban area rich in wildlife.
The upcoming events serve as an open invitation for anyone interested in the project to share their interests and help shape Stratton Community Farmās future.
If you want to grow and eat fresh food, whether you are a beginner or have experience, your voice is needed to help build a space that belongs to everyone.
