To launch Village Halls Week 2021, ACRE will be hosting the Eastern Region virtual conference on Monday 25 January via zoom for all those involved with, and working or volunteering for, our local Village Halls.
We’re proud to have been involved in planning this event together with Hall Advisors from Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Hertfordshire to deliver a Zoom based conference.
Speakers will include a keynote address by Lord Gardiner of Kimble, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, followed by the launch delivered by Richard Quallington Executive Director ACRE and Deborah Clarke Rural Evidence Manager ACRE.
The results of the recent National Village Hall Survey, to which many of you contributed, will be highlighted.
There will also be a series of interactive workshops on relevant topics for village halls, and two Seminars. These will be managed in zoom breakout rooms.
Our own Chief Executive Officer, Tracy Cowan, will deliver the closing remarks to end the conference.
Take a look at the full programme on the Community Action Suffolk website. Halls can book attendance at one morning and one afternoon workshop/seminar and recordings will be made available at a later date.
The conference will run from 9am to 1.30pm and all halls from Bedfordshire and other counties are invited to attend.
We very much look forward to seeing you.
