We’re delighted to announce that we won gold in the Positive Impact category at the SME Luton and Bedfordshire Business Awards last night (Thursday 22nd September 2022).
The awards evening was held at Bedford Corn Exchange and the Beds RCC staff who attended enjoyed a three course meal and entertainment, followed by the awards presentation. It was great to see how businesses across Bedfordshire and Luton are going above and beyond to provide great customer experience, help local communities, and show how much small and medium enterprises can achieve.
The Positive Impact category celebrates both Community Businesses and Not for Profit Organisations who have positively benefitted society. Winning the awards recognises how our staff and volunteers are making a real difference to the local area, and we are extremely proud of them.

CEO Tracy Cowan said, “To receive any award is always amazing, but to get an award for “Positive Impact” is extra special as the purpose of our lovely Charity is to be changemakers, connectors, supporters and to create a positive impact wherever we go. This award means that others have recognised that my brilliant teams do this every day and I am super proud today.”
Winning the Positive Impact Award means we will now be going to the SME National Business Awards at Wembley Stadium in December for two awards – alongside our finalist position for Community Business of the Year.
