Meet our new Community Agent

Our Village and Community Agents connect with older people to help them with free support and assistance. They help with jobs like completing paperwork and joining groups.

Meet our new Community Agent

Caroline Whitelegge is our new Community Agent for Leighton-Linslade. Funded by Leighton-Linslade Town Council, Caroline started her role in early September and offers support to older people in the local area. By supporting individuals either directly or through signposting, Caroline will be able to help people remain independent and be a positive part of the community.

Our Agents service has been running since 2010, and they have become key figures in communities across Bedfordshire. Their role has become particularly important as we experience rising costs of living, and the weather turns colder. During COVID-19, they worked extremely hard in ensuring people did not become lonely and isolated, and supported them in new ways.
