Our series of family friendly seasonal walks is launching soon, with activities to explore our local natural places.
Taking a walk outside is known to help lift the spirits, and has real benefits to both body and mind. In fact, research shows that spending just two hours a week in nature can help us feel happier and healthier. And the best part is that getting outside in nature is free and available to all. Nature is everywhere!
So, why not get out and about as a family with our collection of family-friendly events so you can enjoy nature together? It’s a great opportunity to connect with nature, and connect with each other too.
The first event is called: ‘Walk on the Wild Side: Family Fun this Autumn’ which will be a seasonal woodland walk for all the family to explore the colours, sights and sounds of autumn. It will be taking place on Saturday 24th September at 2pm, starting from Biggleswade Saxon Pool & Leisure Centre.
Find out more about the full collection of walks on our Eventbrite page. For more information, please contact Nicola on nicola.scholfield@bedsrcc.org.uk.
