Join us for Great Big Green Week: the UK’s biggest celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature.
Between 24 September and 2 October this year, Great Big Green Week will unleash a wave of support for action to protect the planet. Tens of thousands of people in every corner of the country will celebrate the heartfelt, brave, everyday actions being taken to stand up for nature and fight climate change.
Last year was the UK’s first Great Big Green Week, and it was the largest event for climate and nature ever seen in the UK. Over 5000 events celebrated how communities are taking action to tackle climate change and protect green spaces, and encouraged others to get involved too.
FAB (Future Action Biggleswade) are planning an event in the Market Square in Biggleswade on Sunday 25th September 2022 (10:30am – 2:30pm) as part of the week. As part of Great Big Green Week, we’re also launching our ‘Walk on the Wild Side’ events.
The first event is called: āWalk on the Wild Side: Family Fun this Autumnā which will be a seasonal woodland walk for all the family to explore the colours, sights and sounds of autumn. It will be taking place on Saturday 24th September at 2pm, starting from Biggleswade Saxon Pool & Leisure Centre.
