On Saturday 18 May Willington residents got together to celebrate ten years of Willington Good Neighbours Group.
Over 50 volunteers and clients gathered to enjoy a special afternoon tea to mark the milestone anniversary and a whole decade of the group being there to help with a range of support including lifts, collecting prescriptions, shopping, dog walking and popping round for chats over a cup of tea.Ā Ā At the party Beds RCC Mike Fayers presented WGNGās chair Shane Horlock with a certificate to mark the occasion and everyone enjoyed the delicious celebration cake.
