Introducing our new Chief Executive

We are delighted to announce that, following a thorough and considered recruitment process, our Deputy Chief Executive, Cliff Andrews, has been appointed as the new Chief Executive of Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity (Beds RCC).

Cliff has been a vital part of our leadership team for over six years, bringing exceptional dedication, insight and compassion to everything we do. His appointment reflects not only his deep understanding of our mission and values, but also the respect and admiration he has earned across the organisation and beyond.

This Board decision followed a good practice, structured, internal recruitment and selection process. Cliff demonstrated vision, capability and commitment to leading Beds RCC into its next chapter. We are thrilled with the outcome and confident that his leadership will continue to strengthen our work and impact.

Paula Grayson, Chairman of Trustees, said:

“Trustees were determined to appoint a Chief Executive who embraces our values and will bring the Beds RCC Strategic Plan to life. We are confident Cliff will ensure our future success in working closely with our stakeholders to deliver effective and efficient meaningful services to all our beneficiaries.”

Cliff will officially take up the role of Chief Executive on 1 June. Until then, he will continue to work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure a smooth transition and to maintain momentum on the key priorities that matter to our stakeholders and communities.

“I am both pleased and humbled to be given the exciting opportunity of leading Team Beds RCC.  Since joining the charity in 2004 I have worked in a number of roles and have first-hand experience of the great enthusiasm and commitment that our staff, volunteers and partners show in serving our communities. I am fully committed to our mission of building, connecting and serving communities who care for each other’s wellbeing and the environment – and am proud to align myself to our values. Like other charities, we face a number of challenges in the coming years – but also many opportunities – and I am thrilled to have such a great team of colleagues to help ensure that our charity and our communities thrive.”
