Come along to The Barn on Friday 29th April for our first Producer Spotlight with business owner Lee, from Badgers Chilli Kitchen.
Our deli, farm shop, and cafƩ in Cardington has had lots of exciting developments recently, including new local suppliers, lots of delicious dishes added to the specials, and a refreshed cafƩ area both inside and out.
They’ve got lots more planned soon, including a chance to meet local suppliers at their Producer Spotlight days. The Barn are proud to stock a range of Bedfordshire and beyond’s finest local produce, including a range of alcohol, chilli jams, curry sauces, ice cream, and cheeses. Not only does buying local mean you’re supporting local business, you’re also choosing the sustainable option by opting for products that have travelled less, and are made with ingredients grown and made in the local area.
The Producer Spotlight days will be launching in just over a week with Lee from Badgers Chilli Kitchen joining for the first event.

Lee’s passion for food started young and has remained with him all his life. A qualified and time-served chef with Michelin star experience, there isn’t much he doesn’t know about great cooking and how ingredients play with each other to achieve the best tasting results.
Lee’s love affair with chillies came later about 2016 to be precise. Experimenting (like he does!) with some chillies he’d grown on his own windowsill, he created the now infamous Original Reaper chilli sauce, and he was hooked.
Come along on Friday 29th April to meet Lee, find out more about his business, and try a sample of his range of sauces, seasonings, and relishes. Make sure to chat to Lee for ideas of ways to use his products and find a new favourite, so you can transform your cooking.
Whilst you’re visiting, why not stop off for lunch and try some of Alison’s delicious new dishes?
See you there, next Friday!
