Join us on Tuesday 10th and Thursday 12th May for our two walks, to mark Mental Health Awareness week.
This year, Mental Health Awareness week is from Monday 9th – Sunday 15th May, with the theme of Loneliness. Mental Health Awareness Week is an annual event with the opportunity for the people in the UK to focus on achieving good mental health.
As a charity with a range of wellbeing projects such as our Good Neighbour Schemes and Wellbeing Walks, mental health awareness is a very key topic as it impacts many of the people we help. Everybody has mental health, and being mindful as to how ours is doing is important so we know when to ask for help.
To get involved in Mental Health Awareness Week this year, we are hosting two guided walks around the Cardington area to give people the opportunity to spend some time in the outdoors, get to know others, and discover the area. The walks are on Tuesday 10th and Thursday 12th May, from 11:15am – 12:15pm.
Both walks will be starting and ending at our farm shop, The Barn. After the walk, please do join us for tea, coffee, and cake, or some lunch in our café.
