Village and Community Agents supporting the most vulnerable

Our Village and Community Agents have been working extremely hard to support some of our most isolated and vulnerable residents from the moment lockdown was announced.

They adapted to provide their service via phone calls, and in some cases video calls, to help both existing and new clients face the challenges and anxieties.

Between April to June, our Team of eight Village and Community Agents have worked to support 555 isolated and vulnerable residents by phone instead of the usual home visits. We are delighted that we are now able to hold open-air meetings with clients in their garden,  or a local public spaces, to tackle issues too complicated for the phone.
