Countryside Management
Looking to improve your site for biodiversity, accessibility or the preservation of natural beauty?
We work in partnership with local councils and landowners to manage their green spaces. We can help manage nature reserves and greenspaces, ranging from scrub clearance to tree planting. Many of our tasks are carried out in the east of the county by ourĀ Ivel Valley Conservation Volunteers.
Our range of countryside management offers include:
- Production and implementation of site Management Plans
- Green-space audits and enhancement proposals
- Site access improvements
- Organising and leading community volunteering events
- Wildlife and heritage interpretation
- Support in establishment of āFriendsā groups and volunteer wardens
- Community consultation on greenspace improvements
- Invasive, non-native species removal (INNS)

In this role, we provide regular site visits to inspect and repair the integrity of site furniture, litter removal, biological monitoring, creation and undertaking of an annual work plan, organisation and promotion of guided walks and direct reporting of issues to the Town Council.
