Aspley Guise Memory Club announced

Aspley Guise Good Neighbours Scheme are pleased to announce that they will be running a new local memory club for people aged 65+ living with early to mid-stage Dementia, or showing symptoms of cognitive impairment, later in 2021.

The plan is that it will be run by Helping Hands volunteers, who are dementia aware and trained in safeguarding.

Their aim is to provide stimulating activities that will build self-confidence and encourage social interaction in a supportive and non-judgemental atmosphere.

The club, open to people living in Aspley Guise and surrounding villages, will be held at Aspley Guise Parish Hall on alternate Wednesdays at 2.30pm, once Covid restrictions are lifted and it has been deemed safe to do so.
