The Barn Cardington will reopen its café on Tuesday 13 April and Ridgmont Station Vintage Tea Room and Heritage Centre will reopen on Wednesday 14 April.
The Barn has undergone a series of changes inside, with a brand new frozen food section from Fieldfare, and the Marquee is back for those planning to eat – take a look at the reduced menu running until 17 May on The Barn website. This will be served outside.
Ridgmont Station Vintage Tea Room and Heritage Centre has also had a refurb, with the ladies room and the Jack Turner room both being redesigned and a new outdoor patio area so that you can enjoy afternoon tea in the sunshine.
In addition, Warden Abbey Vineyard have also just announced tour dates restarting in May.
Staff are very excited about the changes and looking forward to opening their doors again.
Matt Philcox, Head of Business Services, said “It’s been a challenging time, yet despite lockdown we’ve been able to still provide essential food items to our customers and offer home deliveries. Ridgmont had to close due to the regulations, but we’ve used the time to make some fantastic changes as part of the ongoing development of both sites, and we’re confident our customers will be pleased.”
Food is served until 2.30pm Tuesday to Saturday and 10am until 1pm on a Sunday. Coffee and Cake served from 9am to 4pm Tuesday to Saturday and 10am to 3pm on Sunday.
Bookings for afternoon tea at Ridgmont can be made by emailing email@example.com.
Full afternoon tea needs to be booked five days in advance and The Tea Room is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 3pm.
