Amanda Higham

Hi, I’m Amanda, Community Agent for Sandy and Biggleswade, and Village Agent for Bedford Borough rural villages.

I am a new addition to the team, joining in March 2026. As the Sandy Community Agent, I help people with filling in forms – whether it be housing register, blue badge or benefit claims, I can help. I also run the Sandy Welcome Space at the Village Hall every Tuesday, 11am-1pm.

As the Village Agent for Bedford Borough villages, I tend to help people with blue badge and Attendance Allowance applications, although I can help with accessing local support and social groups too.

I also attend ‘drop ins’ in Wixams, Clapham, Biddenham and Harrold.
